DESCRIPTION

Amazon is seeking an exceptionally bright, multi-tasking, and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support executives within the North America Consumer Finance organization. This role will support the Director of Finance for Consumables and the Director of Finance for Amazon Pharmacy. In this role you will be joining a diverse and supportive EA community providing a unique opportunity to develop your administrative skills and experience and to help other EAs do the same.

This fast-paced, challenging role requires an individual with flexibility, good judgment, an eye for accuracy, consistent character, and the ability to pay close attention to details while getting things done under tight timelines. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior leaders globally is critical. A proven track record of effective time management, taking initiative, working independently, delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations is important. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is self-driven and adapts to changing circumstances with grace.

The most successful candidate will be an effective communicator, both verbally and with written correspondence, possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. Understanding basic company organization, working relationships, and business partner roles and responsibilities for this team is important as this position will work closely with multiple geographies and the rest of the company. The ideal candidate is able to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the group, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.

Key Responsibilities include:
· Manage multiple complex calendars and scheduling
· Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items
· Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
· Act as a liaison for direct reports
· Work closely with the leadership team, recruiting and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
· Contribute to longer term Finance projects
· Management of team space, including moves and re-configurations
· Manage domestic and international travel as needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio and PowerPoint
· Excellent organization, planning, time management and problem-solving
· Highly motivated, organized and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
· Experience working with or supporting a finance organization
· Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment; flexible when working with teams
· Positive, proactive and able to consistently exercise great judgment with little guidance
· Ability to handle administrative details independently, while keeping team members adequately informed
· Ability to prioritize and react with appropriate levels of urgency to multiple situations, requests and events that require quick response or turnaround
· High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with professionals inside and outside the company
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and team-oriented philosophy

· 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant
· Experience with executive level calendar management
· Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination
· Experience with Microsoft Office Products
