DESCRIPTION

Self-directed Event Marketing Coordinator sought to support Amazon Web Services (AWS) Third Party Events tradeshow program that targets new customers and increases customer engagement. This program is expecting significant expansion and this role is critical to our 2020 growth strategy.

This role is part of the Global Events Marketing team and is the liaison between event managers and other operational departments within AWS including Legal, Application Security, Finance, and Marketing teams. As the Event Marketing Coordinator, you will have an opportunity to use and develop your data management and analytical skills by reporting on lead metrics and the events budget.

Strong preference for this position to be in Seattle, but open to New York City. Relocation assistance within the US.

Key Responsibilities:

· Budget Management: Event budget tracking, opening and maintaining purchase orders, reconciling invoices to budget, and reporting while partnering with AWS Finance
· Operational Management: Proactively identify, Create and Maintain standard operating procedures with the Third Party Event team and with other AWS operational partners
· Marketing Management: Create and report on Salesforce.com lead and customer marketing campaigns in order to have data to optimize our customer journey and event ROI
· Administrative Management: Document approvals, tracking status and communication between key parties for event execution and tracking, maintain distribution lists, update and enhance the Third Party internal webpage, coordinate team meetings and events, document and distribute team notes
· Data Management: Retrieve, analyze and report on customer, budget, and operational data using Salesforce.com and other data management systems
· Travel: Moderate, occasional weekends

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years' experience in marketing, event marketing or operations.
· Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years' working in a similar capacity
