DESCRIPTION

The AWS Global Events team is seeking a customer obsessed, dedicated customer support agent. Your primary goal will be to assist our event attendees with their inquiries related to re:Invent, re:Inforce, and Summits.

In this role you will work directly with our customers through email, chat, phone, and in person to address event related issues. Such issues include, but are not limited to, general event questions, troubleshooting registration or hotel booking errors, assisting with cancellation requests, password resets, billing event tickets to AWS accounts, providing visa invitation letters.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in event marketing at AWS. Meticulous attention to detail, willingness to solve hard problems, and superior communication are all highly valued skills.

Responsibilities
· Effectively resolve customer inquiries in a considerate, accurate, and timely manner
· Meet service level agreements set by the Customer Support Manager
· Track issues escalated for resolution to ensure customers receive a timely response
· Maintain a positive, customer focused attitude at all times
· Drive projects that improve customer interactions with AWS events
· Actively seeking solutions to customer needs, communicating trends to leadership, and suggesting innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience
· Own updates for our team, event, and event best practices internal wikis
· Contribute to customer support team's resource documentation
· Support customers onsite at event Help Desks

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer support role
· Proficient to advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
· Able to travel up to 10% of time
