CloudFront is a fast content delivery (CDN) service that securely delivers data, videos (Live and Video on Demand), applications, and APIs to customers globally with low latency, high transfer speeds, all within a developer-friendly environment. We are looking for an engineer that will be part of the next-generation special projects for an area of strategic importance and significant business and customer impact. Responsibilities will include all aspects of the service experience: designing and building the software, managing its operations, and delivering on customer performance and scale expectations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s in Computer Science or related field
· Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
· Familiarity with Internet protocols such as HTTP, , , and UDP in a development environment
· Experience building large-scale web services, systems backed by services, such as AWS
· Experience with CDN, DDoS mitigation, engineering and related services is a plus
· Prior systems development engineering experience

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's in Computer Science or closely related field
· 4+ years Programming experience with at least one modern language such as C, , or , etc.
· 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and (architecture, patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems, familiar with version control systems, automated build processes, and software unit testing.
