DESCRIPTION

Amazon Digital Apps and Games Services, the team behind the experience on Amazon Appstore, Amazon Fire TV and Fire Tablets is looking for a Developer Evangelist to join the EU Developer Marketing Team.

The Developer Evangelist will join an experienced and energetic organization that is responsible for the engagement with the Apps and Games developer community in Europe. In this role, you’ll combine your passion and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology with your unmatched creativity to generate attention and support for Amazon devices and Amazon Appstore among developers, key industry opinion makers and technologists.

Ideally, you’re someone who comes from a mobile software and/or games developer background and has desire to educate the developer community on the adoption of Amazon-centric technologies like Living-room experiences and Media Streaming Apps development on Amazon Fire TV, Alexa and Voice Integrations, Games development tools and related services. You have immediate credibility with Mobile Apps and Games Developers, Solution Architects, Product Managers and C-level stakeholders. You love to share your passion with others and exhibit good judgment in selecting strategic opportunities to do so.

The role can be located in the following EU locations: London, Berlin, Luxembourg.

Main Responsibilities:
· Developing and delivering compelling presentations, product demos, sample solutions, and discussions to help drive awareness and adoption of Amazon Mobile Apps and Games-centric technologies.
· Gaining industry recognition and credibility as attendee, panelist and keynote speaker at Amazon and third party technology conferences, hackathons, workshops and events
· Continuing to identify leads for potential partnerships and customer opportunities.
· Collaborating with internal teams to define the product road map, market positioning, community user groups and developer program initiatives.
· Be the advocate and voice of developers internally at Amazon, representing developers needs within the company
· Creating and maintaining white papers, screencasts, demos and videos about Amazon Apps and Games services along with emerging technologies and industry developments.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Business fluent English skills
· Willingness to travel and ability to work autonomously
· A history of successful speaking engagements, industry influence and / or recognition in technology publications

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong knowledge and experience with mobile application development and/or games development platforms and popular programming languages (Java, C#, C++)
· Computer Science Degree or related technical field
· Outstanding public speaking and presentation skills
· Proficiency writing technical, educational developer content (technical articles, whitepapers, tutorials, sample code)
· Significant experience working in a technology evangelist or technical executive role
· Experience developing and publishing mobile apps and/or games on mobile App Stores
· Experience working on Media Streaming Apps or Connected TV devices
· Working knowledge and experience with social / online marketing coupled with prior experience in product definition, bring-to-market strategies and/ or setting an industry standard
