Our ad solutions—including sponsored ads, display, video, and custom ads—leverage Amazon’s innovations and insights to find, attract, and engage intended audiences throughout their daily journeys.

Amazon Advertising is seeking a detail-focused copywriter/editor to join our team help polish good work into great communications. You will have an opportunity to work on a variety of projects and deliverables from emails to web pages, video scripts, emails, pitch decks, and keynote presentations. This role requires an excellent writer and communicator who is able to distill complex concepts into succinct, meaningful copy. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, effectively juggling multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a sharp attention to detail and high standards. You work quickly, collaboratively, and iteratively. You are also self-motivated, resourceful, eager to learn about our business, and willing to "roll up your sleeves" and get work done.

Responsibilities
· Copyedit and proofread B2B digital and print marketing materials for quality, consistency and compliance, including grammar, punctuation, brand style and brand guideline considerations
· Write compelling copy that captures readers’ attention across a variety of mediums and channels, including emails, web pages, videos, and presentations.
· Serve as the “final read” and prepare content for publication or digital distribution.
· Manage workflow processes and lead peer review sessions
· Define and recommend workflow efficiencies for editorial review, project prioritization and planned hours for project work
· Establish and share best practices across content/editorial team
· Proactively seek out opportunities to update brand style guidelines and educate business partners about guidelines and expectations
· Contribute to building toolkits, templates, and processes to promote self-service and communication best practices across the organization.
· Consistently manage deadlines and priorities for multiple projects simultaneously

***This role can sit in either our Seattle or New York City office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Creative Writing, or a related field.
· 5+ years’ professional experience in a writing or editing role, preferably for a technology company.
· Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to distill complex technical and business concepts into crisp, user-friendly communications.
· A portfolio that represents a range of content and shows your passion for connecting with readers.
· Project management skills including experience prioritizing and managing multiple projects at once

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of marketing experience
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
· Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
