Do you have the business savvy, public sector experience, and technical background necessary to help establish AWS as a key technology platform provider? We are seeking an experienced Business Advisor in Sao Paulo, Brazil or Buenos Aires, Argentina to drive and implement strategic initiatives within the South of Latin America Public Sector Region. This person will be tasked to formulate and refine strategy in support of the business’ goals and objectives. This person will also collect business requirements and identify appropriate tools and resources needed to ensure timely and successful delivery of results.
The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of sales, a deep knowledge of sales tools, such as SFDC (SalesForce.com) and financials metrics and analysis. This individual will work very closely with the Sales and Partner Development leaders to manage regular sales cadence and analyze financial performance and sales KPI.

The ideal candidate would have several years of experience in field sales productivity and have strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish. Financial skills is essential, and the ability to build monthly and quarterly models is fundamental.

This position will work with the several cross-functional key stakeholders supporting the extended AWS sales organization, such as Business Development, Marketing, Professional Services, Solution Architects and the Partner team to drive the Region strategy. The candidate will be driving simultaneously multiple short term projects (less than 2 months) and ad-hoc requests. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units, as well as across other geographies and global teams. This is a hands-on position - the ideal candidate must be willing to “roll up the sleeves” and get things done.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Audit Country goals (i.e. finance, marketing, programs) to ensure alignment against Vertical objectives.
· Lead and promote the team to drive new strategies that optimize business functions to meet these business goals.
· Rhythm of the business (ROB), working on significant and unique complex issues, focused on country strategy and priorities (I.e. weekly forecasts, block removal, team meetings, MBR, QBR).
· Manage long-range calendar, including collaborating with Sales Operations, Sales Enablement and Sales leadership to track business actions and drive to closure.
· Provide Subject Matter Expertise: establishes cadence with internal leaders, to insure a cohesive, high-performing team.
· Lead key internal and initiatives including planning sessions (OP1/OP2). Work collaboratively with Operations.
· Build Internal Presentations and Communications.
· Collaborate with Sales Operations Leader to create and implement processes and analysis to support the region’s priorities.
· Represent Business Leader as proxy during internal meetings as requested (i.e. WFR calls, Region meetings).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· MBA
· Experience with AWS technology
· Strategic thinker that can take broad visions and concepts and develop structured plans, actions and measurable metrics and then execute those plans.
· Excellent communications skills including, presenting, editing, and writing as well as accuracy and attention to detail required.
· Proven excellent leadership, program management and project management skills.
· Proven ability to lead and manage at senior levels without direct authority
· A fast-thinking, high-energy senior level individual with a sense of humor and ability to work with a wide range of personalities will thrive in this role.
· Experience with SFDC

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Fluent Spanish and English
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (Field Sales, Sales Support)
· Productivity experience with increasing influence and responsibility
· Bachelor’s degree
· Strong with Excel (Pivot Tables, etc...), modeling and forecasting
· Ability to travel up to 40%.
