Job description
Purpose:
This position is responsible for assisting in leading individual, or multiple projects for a Program Manager. The individual is responsible for recommending personnel functions within the area of responsibility, assist in setting project and/or organization priorities, managing resources, providing input to and managing project or departmental expense budgets.
Functions:
Sets individual project goals that are consistent with business objectives.
Identifies project/team and or individual trends in performance strengths and weaknesses.
Establishes project priorities/risk identification, differentiating levels of urgency.
Works effectively with customer/project/departmental personnel or those outside the formal line of authority to accomplish project/departmental goals.
Provides thought leadership in the establishment and development of project baseline budgets, schedules, project engineering, and resource management and allocation, in individual and group situations.
Empower subordinates by allocating decision-making authority and task responsibilities to appropriate individuals.
Adapts effectively to changing cultures and organizational structures, new procedures, or systems, and effectively leads and interacts with different types/levels of personnel.
Maintains Project Management competency by continuous monitoring of trends and new techniques within a professional area.
Continuous development of knowledge within the profession and industry by understanding industry and business units.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related degree and at least one year of relevant experience is preferred (internship experience is applicable).
Must have excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills. Must be a fast learner with the ability to learn the necessary systems quickly.
Excellent Microsoft Suite skills: PowerPoint, Project
Ability to transition and prioritize multiple tasks throughout the day
Comfortable and willing to work through ambiguity by asking appropriate questions
