Job Description

A vacancy for a working student has arisen within SATAIR in Hamburg at the earliest possible start date. You will join the demand planning department.

It is our mission to secure spares availability for all material categories and aircraft Programs worldwide. We manage the process of Strategic, Demand and Supply planning to ensure on time availability of parts for the customer.

Your responsibilities will focus on:

·  supporting the Supply Planning perimeter for our Product Lines Planning
·  Tracking actions and support on development of a new IT tool to improve Supply Chain efficiency
·  Assisting in operational needs and work preparation for inventory optimization opportunities
·  Support to Satair Plannning organization

You will have to following qualifications:

·  You are studying a university degree in Engineering/Business Administration or similar, ideally specialising in Supply Chain / Logistics.
·  You have good knowledge of Airbus and Satair, and solid knowledge of MS Office (particularly MS Excel) and SAP R/3.
·  Technical knowledge of aircraft and understanding of Engineering Data, alongside knowledge of databases (Access, Oracle, Dispo Cockpit) are desirable.
·  You have good communication skills and enjoy working in a diverse, international team.
·  Fluency in English and basic German skills complete your profile.
