Job Description:

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements:

● European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)

● Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any

● Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

Description of the job

A VIE for a Buyer & Procurement Support has arisen within Airbus Netherlands BV in Leiden. You will join the local Procurement Department.

Airbus Netherlands makes a vital contribution to the international Space industry in our current operational areas of Solar Arrays, Launcher Structures, Instruments & Systems. Airbus Netherlands designs and builds structures for European launchers serving the commercial and institutional satellite markets. The combination of our long heritage and continually expanding expertise has equipped us with the capability to meet the rapidly changing demands in this field. The company also plays a crucial role on a variety of missions funded by ESA, NASA and commercial institutions to design and develop Solar Arrays used to power satellites, spacecraft and their payloads. 

Integrated with the local team of around 10 people, you will act on a large portfolio of suppliers both in general and project procurement fields.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include: 

· 
Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance within Company requirements (Internal - External).

· 
Monitor the contract (during innovation, development, serial and support phases) with suppliers and Company stakeholders to achieve throughout the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Logistics, support, quality, cost...).

· 
Manage the day to day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.

· 
Contribute to the Multifunctional/Multidivisional teams all along the tendering, contracting and contract life cycle phases.

This role will involve some travel for business for physical meetings with suppliers and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You have the following skills and experience: 

· 
Educated to BSc degree level (or equivalent) in Procurement, Supply Management or Engineering.

· 
A first experience in Procurement or Supply Chain (apprenticeships and internships included), preferably in a technical field of activity.

· 
You are at ease with common Office IT tools.

· 
Knowledge of ERP systems/SAP (is preferred).

· 
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Le Volontariat International en Entreprise (V.I.E) est un programme international unique parrainé par le ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères, le ministère de l'Économie et des Finances et le ministère de la Transition écologique et de la Cohésion des territoires. Un poste de V.I.E pour un Acheteur & Support Achats (Buyer & Procurement Support) est à pourvoir au sein d'Airbus Netherlands BV à Leiden. Vous rejoindrez le département local des Achats.

Airbus Netherlands apporte une contribution essentielle à l'industrie spatiale internationale dans nos domaines opérationnels actuels que sont les générateurs solaires, les structures de lanceurs, les instruments et les systèmes. Dans ces domaines, nous figurons parmi les leaders mondiaux et cherchons à maintenir ce niveau avec nos futurs produits et services. Notre objectif est d'être un partenaire fiable qui contribue au succès des missions de nos clients de manière ciblée et axée sur les solutions.

Airbus Netherlands conçoit et construit des structures pour les lanceurs européens desservant les marchés des satellites commerciaux et institutionnels. L'alliance de notre long héritage et de notre expertise en constante expansion nous permet de répondre aux demandes en mutation rapide dans ce domaine. L'entreprise joue également un rôle crucial dans diverses missions financées par l'ESA, la NASA et des institutions commerciales pour concevoir et développer les générateurs solaires utilisés pour alimenter les satellites, les engins spatiaux et leurs charges utiles.

Intégré(e) à une équipe locale d'environ 10 personnes, vous interviendrez sur un large portefeuille de fournisseurs, tant dans le domaine des achats généraux que dans celui des projets.

Missions et responsabilités
Vos principales missions consisteront à :

·  Contribuer à l'activité de sourcing, gérer les appels d'offres et la négociation des contrats afin d'obtenir les meilleures conditions d'achat conformément aux exigences de l'entreprise (internes et externes).
·  Assurer le suivi du contrat (pendant les phases d'innovation, de développement, de série et de support) avec les fournisseurs et les parties prenantes de l'entreprise afin d'obtenir, tout au long du cycle de vie du contrat, une application complète des conditions générales pour garantir que les fournisseurs fournissent la performance attendue dans toutes les dimensions (logistique, support, qualité, coût...).
·  Gérer les relations quotidiennes avec les fournisseurs et les projets en cours afin d'optimiser la valeur pour le client, tout en minimisant le coût total de possession et les risques.
·  Contribuer aux équipes multifonctionnelles/multidivisionnelles tout au long des phases d'appel d'offres, de passation de marché et du cycle de vie des contrats.

Ce rôle impliquera des déplacements professionnels pour des réunions physiques avec les fournisseurs ; vous devez donc être en mesure de voyager en conséquence.

 Compétences requises

Vous possédez les compétences et l'expérience suivantes :

·  Diplômé(e) d'un Bac+3 (BSc) ou équivalent en Achats, Gestion de la chaîne logistique ou Ingénierie.
·  Une première expérience en Achats ou Supply Chain (alternances et stages inclus), de préférence dans un domaine d'activité technique.
·  Vous êtes à l'aise avec les outils informatiques de bureau courants (Office).
·  La connaissance des systèmes ERP/SAP est privilégiée.
·  Excellentes capacités de communication en anglais (oral et écrit).
