Within the framework of a school curriculum in initial training , you are looking for a compulsory internship or an internship integrated into a gap year, lasting 4 to 6 months maximum , allowing you to validate your year.

An internship offer entitled 'Engineer accident investigations (implication of Hydraulic circuit) (m/f)' has just opened within Airbus Helicopters   on its site Marignane.

You will join a team of 4 people in the department in charge of the accident investigation.

Your internship will consist to the creation of a guideline and resulting hand book for the EC130/AS350/AS355 Hydraulic circuit within the accident investigations activity (possible extension to the servo-transparency phenomenon depending to the student progress)

This internship will begin in January 2021 (date subject to flexibility) and will last for a period of 04/06 months.

This position requires a security clearance or requires to be eligible for clearance by recognized authorities.

Duties and responsibilities:

You will contribute to the following main activities:

· 
Guideline:

· 
History of design / principle / modification / publication / procedure (pre/post flight check, training…)

· 
Data available: Control load / direction in hydraulic off…

· 
Wreckage findings vs root causes

· 
Handbook: Protocols for wreckage examination

· 
Lesson learned report: Incident, serious incident & accident occurrences, findings & root causes

This course will allow you to develop the following skills:

· 
Knowledge of the hydraulic circuit architecture

· 
Hydraulic circuit failure mode

· 
Continued airworthiness approach of the incident/accident

Business trips are to be expected and you must be prepared to travel accordingly.

Skills & Prerequisites:

You are currently preparing a Bac +4/5 level (or equivalent) degree in the field of general engineering or with aeronautic/mechanical specialty or a related discipline.

You have the following skills:

· 
Technical domain: aerodynamic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical… & Operational:  piloting, training, maintenance, human factor… / Wide general knowledge

· 
Sources of information: people, paper, tools… / Resourcefulness

· 
Contacts: accident investigation, engineering, technical support… / Communication skills

· 
Wreckage examination / Manual ability

Language skills :

French   : Fluent

English   :  Advanced
