Job Description

A vacancy as a Structure Engineer has arisen  within Airbus in Getafe (Madrid). The successful applicant will join  the RFE Repairs department.

Mission

·  Design and Validation of components, assemblies and repair solutions that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance, production/assembly requirements while highest safety of the Product is assured using appropriate Design tools.
·  Analyse and Validate structures for static & fatigue strength according to validated methods.
·  Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.
·  Define, interpret and validate tests.
·  Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
·  Provide input for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions (i.e. production, customer support) as needed.
·  Provide stress analysis for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures.

Profile

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated in an  Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.
·  Interest in Structures and Digitalization.
·  Previous experience in Design, Stress or Fatigue would be an asset.
·  Strong motivation and ability to work in an international and changing environment.
