Job Description

For Airbus Helicopters in Marignane within the LMP “Laboratory for Materials & Processes” for the department “ETLN - Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Development & Simulation” we are looking for a ' NDT Magnetic Particle Inspection Level 3' (f/m).

The Laboratory for Materials and Processes supports Engineering, Production and Maintenance at all major steps of a helicopter development. It is responsible for research and development of new material and production processes, process simulation, and new inspection methods, as well as the sustaining support for industry and support & services.

One mission of “NDT Development and Simulation” department is the development of advanced and customized Non Destructive Testing solutions under consideration of cost, available technologies and regulations and in close cooperation with Engineering and Production at Airbus Group level. In this perimeter and to reinforce our young and motivated team, we are looking for a “NDT Magnetic Particle Inspection Level 3”.

Tasks:

Your main responsibilities will include:

·  Being a part of the technical referent team in Magnetic Particle Inspection
·  Being in close collaboration with AIRBUS Business Units, official partners and authorities
·  Document validation for general guidelines and specific inspection document
·  Support and approval of processes applied at our partners and suppliers
·  Keeping internal process specifications (General + Specific procedures) up to date
·  Developing and qualifying NDT methods
·  Providing technical support to Innovation, Design Office, Production Line, Maintenance and Customer Support in MPI
·  Monitoring the NDT performance of Airbus Helicopters and its suppliers (internal / external audits, verification of NDT processes documents)
·  Training NDT methods to internal and external customers.

Skills/Knowledge:

You will have the following skills and experience:

· 
More than 5 years’ experience in NDT

·  MT Level 3 certification according to EN4179 (MANDATORY)
·  Additional Level 3 would be appreciated
·  French English: fluent / advanced
·  Service / customer orientated mindset
·  Good team player attitude
·  Consolidated knowledge of production and in-service needs in terms of NDT
·  Autonomous and well communicating
·  Ability to understand synthetize and explain technical problems
