Job Description:

A vacancy for a Tornado Equipment Engineer (d/m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join 'Tornado Qualification & Equipment Engineering”.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  System engineering activities - definition of SW requirements in DOORS for theTornado avionics computer
·  Definition of equipment requirements in compliance with functional integrations aspects
·  Preparation and review of design documents, preparation of equipment specification
·  Handling of equipment obsolescences
·  Support of studies for future capabilities
·  Participation of related cost offers
·  Validation of technical publications
·  Coordination of activities of different functional areas inside engineering

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Degree in aerospace, electrical engineering or a comparable discipline
·  Extensive systems engineering experience
·  Experience with the Tornado weapon system
·  Project management experience
·  Professional handling of Doors
·  Communicative, team player
·  Ready to take on a cross-departmental coordinating role
·  Fluent German and English
