Are you passionate about IT, experienced in software development techniques and convinced by the added business value of digitalization?
Airbus has started its Digital journey. The objective being to transform the company and to prepare it for the future. This transformation includes new global governance, new ways of working and the implementation of digital business services and platforms managed by the Airbus Digital Accelerator organization.
The Airbus Information Management (IM) division and Digital Accelerator department are looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to join its Digital Squad based in Toulouse (France).
One key component of this Digital Transformation is the implementation of solutions to enable the data-value chain in Airbus and it's divisions to make the best use of data in Airbus, whether to optimize our business processes or to create new business values via data monetization.
The data-value chain encompasses solutions to create, capture, connect, ingest, transport, process, expose and visualize data, data coming from Airbus, Customers (Airlines), Aircrafts (in-flight data), suppliers and other third-party entities.
In that context, the Digital Squad is key in achieving Airbus' goal.

Tasks
Your specific responsibilities will be:

• Developing, testing, documenting and supporting mobile applications, libraries and components in the context of multiple product and initiatives,
• Developing, updating and using CI/CD pipelines to allow fully automated deployment and testing of mobile applications across all environments,
• Conducting researches on new technologies and solutions, complete proof of concepts, apply these new findings into our current environment,
• Supporting, coaching and enabling other mobile developers in the use of the platform by providing advice, best practice and guidelines,
• Working in small and self-sufficient multi-functional teams responsible for end to end product development,
• Promoting a strong Agile & Lean culture to drive business values.
This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

• Experience in IT Development
• Proven track record as software developer acting across the entire development lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git & Maven), test-driven development and test automation
• Specific, extensive experience with designing and implementing mobile applications on native Android or native iOS or React Native
• Strong coding abilities using Swift, Java, Kotlin or Javascript
• Proven track record working in Agile Scrum and/or Kanban projects
• Knowledge on some of the following products/tools: Jira/Confluence, GitHub
• Knowledge on some of the following tools Jenkins, Splunk , Docker, Artifactory, Fastlane would be a bonus
• Knowledge or awareness of Enterprise Cloud Platform technologies (AWS) would be a bonus
• Test automation knowledge (JUnit, XCTest, Cucumber, ...) would be a bonus
• Advanced level of French would be a bonus
