Description of the job :
Are you our next Feed & Filter Design Engineer? Airbus Defence & Space in Stevenage is looking for its next Feed & Filter Design Engineer at a truly exciting time for the business.

The Engineering team for Feeds and Filters is responsible for designing a range of products from filters, OMT's, horns to Polarisers. They are responsible for supporting on going programs with data processing and report writing. You will work as a key team member working collaboratively across the team and wider business, bringing with you your experience and knowledge.

The successful applicant will be subject to UK Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs.

Task & accountabilities :
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Microwave/RF design, analysis and verification of feed chain components and/or filters for space equipment.
• Use of design software associated with the above requirement (CST , Mician, HFSS, other).
• Generation of reports, procedures, presentation material, and technical support with internal and external customers.
• Support RF testing of components and equipment during flight or development test campaigns.
• Attendance at customer meetings, presentation of designs, test campaigns, results, and reports.
• Possible situation for being the Responsible Engineer for a project, working within the Feed Group structure.
• Some development work possible.

Required skills :
We are looking for applicants with the following skills and experience

- Educated to Degree Level in Physics/ Electrical/ Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Working knowledge of feed components or filter design
- Manufacturing and test experience
