Job Description
For Airbus Helicopters in Marignane, department 'ETZWM Military Software Products', we are looking for a Software Development and Verification
Engineer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysis of Software Requirements Specifications
- Modification and enhancement of Software Architecture and Design.
- Implementation of Software modification in source code
- Definition and/or modification of test strategy
- Implementation and performance of functional unitary tests and integration tests on host Computer
- Modification and enhancement of test scenarios, test procedures (interactive or automatic) and simulation models for both Integration and Qualification
Tests
- Conduction of Integration test to verify the functionalities of the Software, investigation and reporting of problems.
- Conduction of Formal Qualification Test on the Software Test Bench
Depending on the available competences, activities can expand to cover:
- Support to definition and review of Software Requirements Specifications
- Software integration and generations of target executable's
- Development of simulation models to support Integration and Validation tests of the Software on host and on target
- Support to definition and/or modification of test infrastructures (Test Systems Hardware and Software, Test Racks and Benches)
Other Qualifications & Skills:
Operating Systems: Unix, Linux, Windows
Avionic Systems Know-How required, including bus systems (e.g.
MIL-STD-1553, ARINC429)
Knowledge of Software Qualification/Certification Standards (e.g.
DOD-STD-2167A, MIL-STD-498, IEEE 12207, DO178B/C)
Programming Languages: C, C++, Ada, Java
Scripting Languages: Perl, Python
Excellent communication skills
