Landing Gear is one of Airbus Commercials six Engineering Centres of Competence including Cabin and Cargo, Airframe, Systems, Flight Physics and Powerplant.

We provide operational leadership and excellence across Landing Gear topics:

·  Landing systems definition and vendor management for new programmes, incremental developments and to support continuous product development.
·  Integration, evolution, application and maturity of Landing Gear development processes, through state of the art simulations and data analytics technologies.
·  Proactive product support for industrialisation, production and in-service.
·  Execution of product, technology and innovation strategies to deliver Landing Gear related Research and Technology (R&T) for future and current Airbus products.

Tasks:

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

·  You will be given the opportunity to have placements working with an experienced team across a broad scope including Recruitment, Resource Management, Performance Management, Change Management, Learning, Subcontract Management and Processes, Methods and Tools. We look to tailor the work you will be involved in through your likes, interests and previous experience to maximise the value you can add to the business by increasing your employee satisfaction and also by taking your development needs seriously.
·  You will have the opportunity to own and lead projects where possible as well as working autonomously at times throughout duration of your internship.

Our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

·  Excellent interpersonal, communication (both verbal and written) & networking skills.
·  High level of proactivity with a strong drive for personal development.
·  Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
·  Target-oriented, driven work style with an analytic problem solving skills.

Nice to have

·  A keen interest in emerging technologies.
·  Project Management experience.

Degree:

You must be an undergraduate for the full duration of the internship.

The following degrees are highly relevant to Landing Gear CoC Engineering:

·  Operations Management.
·  Business / Business Management.
·  Economics.
·  Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology.
·  Digital technology.
·  Data Science and Analytics.
