Description of the job :
The Finance Management Development Programme (FMD) is an Airbus-wide development programme. This 18-months programme is designed to identify and develop talented Leaders who will significantly contribute to the future of Finance (digitalization, process streamlining, business partnering projects).
The FMD - sponsored by Airbus' CFO enables its participants to enhance financial know-how and expertise, combined with further learning in project and stakeholder leadership.
The FMD programme is based on two strategic missions of 9 month each, decided by the top management of Finance. These missions take place in different Business Units of Airbus and different areas of Finance.
The FMDs will deliver a team project after the 18 months to the Finance Leadership team on top of their assignments.
They will be supported to strengthen their leadership skills, through learning modules, mentoring and coaching.
During the 18 months, the FMDs will work close to the top managers of Finance and will have the opportunity to develop an impactful network across Airbus.
This great exposure and their ability to make the difference will allow them to influence job offers at the end of the FMD programme.
Task & accountabilities :
You will join strategic projects within Finance. In this frame, your tasks will be allocated by the Finance Board.
Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:
- Academic background (at least Master degree level) in Finance, Business Administration and/or Engineering
- Work experience of minimum 5 years either in Finance or Business
- International background/experience: minimum 3 years of experience working or studying outside of Europe
- High interest for the Aerospace and Defence industry
- Ability to interact with people, inspire and influence diverse stakeholders
- Digital and analytical skills
- Culture change and innovation mindset
- Capacity to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
- Worldwide mobility
- Language skills: Negotiation level of English. German, Spanish or French would be a plus
