Description of the job

A vacancy for a Green30 work package coordinator for Eco-Design has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse. You will join the Airframe Research & Technology Department.

The position offers a unique opportunity to join Airbus efforts on establishing eco-efficient Materials & Processes as a basic enabler for overall eco-design. Our main drivers are sustainability, circular processing, recycling or usage of bio-based materials. You will be a part of an enthusiastic, international team which significantly contributes to create the future of aviation.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include

·  Technology assessment and –development under eco-design
·  Work package lead in according technology projects
·  Establishing a transnational network of academia and suppliers on novel materials

This role will involve frequent travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to master degree (or equivalent) in Material Science or a related discipline
·  Materials & Processes basic experience
·  Project management basic experience
·  Work experience in internationally active companies
·  Project management basic skills
·  Independent, self-steered way of working
·  Communication- and personal interaction skills
·  Negotiation level in English and French
