Job Description

A VIE for Customs has arisen within Airbus in Mobile, USA. You will join the Finance department for 18 months.

the VIE is to be filled from June 1st 2020 (the dates are subject to a certain flexibility).

You will support Airbus customs activities in Mobile and will participate to the analysis of the trade war on-going on a customs perspective (evolution legislation, impacts analysis, etc.).

You will also contribute to projects having activities starting or finishing in Europe with Mobile factory as recipient or consignee of the flows.

You will also support the corporate deployment of customs policies in the A220 program.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Supporting in obtaining customs certificates such as C-TPAT
·  Performing customs management by securing customs procedures, creating schemes in order to optimize the group's customs duty savings, mitigating risks related to customs matters and advising other business functions (commercial, procurement, transport & supply chain...) in respect of all customs implications.

This role could involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

You have the following skills and experience:

- You are preparing a diploma level Bac+5 in legal, general business administration, supply chain or economics (or equivalent) and you have the following skills:

- You are interested in International Trade, Logistics or Finances

- You are able to use proficiently such tools as SAP, pack office

- Negotiation level of English and French

- Spanish or German: Knowledge would be advantageous

- Rigorous, curious and autonomous

- Obtain good interpersonal and communication skills

- Able to integrate into team and be a flexible team player

- Have organizational skills

- Able to analyze and synthesize information

- Knowledge of project management would be a plus
