Job Description

A vacancy for a “Electrical Design Tornado” (d/f/m) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join „ Engineering Airframe - Mechanical Systems Design & Integration- Sytems Installation In Service Manching “.

The Systems Installation In-Service Manching team is responsible for the design of the electrical integration/cabling, mechanical integration and primary and secondary structure for the entire Tornado aircraft (test carriers, repairs) as well as for the fuselage centre section (retrofitting and series topics).

In the area of electrical design, design requirements have to be analysed and interdisciplinary developed, concepts compatible with the existing cabling architecture developed and, taking into account a complex building condition history, implemented in circuit diagrams, production and installation documents.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  On Site In-Service Support Tornado at MRO and Flight Test Manching
·  Customer Support via TESP (Tornado Engineering Support Procedure)
·  Electrical design based on 2D drawing set with complex manual data definitions
·  Investigation of extensive configuration matrices
·  Electrical design of modification i.a.w. Tornado Change process and configuration principles

Qualification

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

- Completed studies Electrotechnics or comparable education

-  Several years of experience in Engineering/ Manufacturing

- Tornado specific knowledge (electrics, wiring)

- PDM Database Knowledge is an advantage

- Ability to work in a team

- Advanced in English, advanced in German
