Job Description

An opportunity for an Airbus Marketing internship has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Marketing Department.

Airbus Marketers have a deep understanding of our markets and products. They are close to and interact with our customers around the world on a wide range of specialist and generic topics that contribute to aircraft sales.

Behind every aircraft deal, there is a team of marketers who have worked to understand the market, build the right aircraft solutions and develop campaign approaches.

This is a team of people who work relentlessly in a very competitive environment to positioning Airbus products as winners and value generators for our customers.

Our understanding of evolving market requirements helps shape our future aircraft developments to keep Airbus at the leading edge of aviation.

·  Tasks and Responsibilities :

Within the Marketing function of Airbus Commercial, you will be working in the Market

Intelligence and Consulting team that has typically three fields of expertise:

- Market research, understanding and forecasting

- Airlines revenues and economics

- Network and fleet planning

Beginning of 2018, we started a Market Understanding, Segmentations and Trends project which aims to identify airlines’ business models clusters, understand key drivers for airlines business, provide airlines comparisons or benchmarking or build strategic dashboards.

About 100 KPIs describe airlines’ business models and cover financial, commercial and operational dimensions.

Added value of the project goes beyond the clustering in itself but expands to the future KPI database and extensive airline understanding it enables.

As part of the project team you will participate and propose approach to:

- Support indicators build and update with data quality mindset

- Support clustering activities

- Run statistical methods for business analysis

·  Required skills :

- Minimum Bac+4 level in training in Statistics and Econometrics

- Negotiation level in English and French

- Proficient in English for both writing and presentations.

- Statistics methods: very good understanding of descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, multivariate & factor analysis, clustering, econometrics, visualizations…

- Programming : advanced in R (including visualization)

- Good communication and relational skills, as the job involves working with various stakeholders, partners and customers.
