We have an exciting opportunity with our global Insurance client. They are a company that is recognised worldwide who are looking for a underwriting Assistant to work within their Chelmsford office for the next 3 months.

To assist in the renewal of the Director & Officers (D&O) Insurance book working within a team of two whilst liaising with Underwriting and Development managers.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

You will report to Underwriting Manager and Class Underwriter in Chelmsford.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

* Previous Underwriting support or administration experience will be highly beneficial

* General computer competency, including experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

* Experience on insurance data entry systems would be beneficial

* Have a logical approach to complex data

* Ability to communicate effectively

* Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills * Accurate and exceptional attention to detail

* Excellent proactive organisation skills and ability to plan and prioritize work

The individual will be expected to be capable of effectively managing their own workload under the supervision of the Directors & Officers renewal business Underwriters and assisting the renewal business teams where required.
