Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Salary circa £18,000 (dependant on experience)

A rare opportunity has become available to join our successful team as a Recruitment Consultant covering Temporary requirements for our clients in the Droitwich/Kidderminster/Bromsgrove/Redditch areas. No previous recruitment experience is required: full training will be provided and personality is key!

What does a Recruitment Consultant do?

·  Active Business Development, prospecting new clients in the Droitwich/Kidderminster/Bromsgrove/Redditch areas. You'll need to be fearless as you'll be contacting businesses to qualify if they would need our services, before prospecting them through to conversion. This could be achieved through telephone calls, sending over marketing information plus door knocking with merchandise. Sometimes you'll be lucky and it won't take much time at all to build the relationship, sometimes it can be a slower burn - but always worth it when it pays off and you receive a temporary booking to work on!

·  Negotiating fees and T&Cs for temporary bookings.

·  Servicing your clients by finding candidates to submit for live temporary bookings; registering these individuals plus all compliance associated with this; this part of the role is very administrative heavy - so you need to be meticulous and speedy!

·  Account Management for existing business; checking in on your temps during their assignment and conducting service reviews with line managers (this is the fun bit as you get to see your hard work pay off!).

·  Assisting with payroll queries on a weekly basis; processing holiday requests, ensuring timesheets have been submitted and authorised, and dealing with P45 requests.

Why work for Adecco?

·  The Adecco Group is a renowned and Global business incorporating a group of agencies (such as Office Angels, Spring Technology, Badenoch and Clark etc). We can offer you unrivalled training throughout your career. Training includes an academy style break; regular workshops with your Regional Manager - plus we have a catalogue of L&D in-person courses which you can pick and choose as you see fit! Anytime you go for training your travel costs (and accommodation, if applicable) are paid for by Adecco!

·  We offer self-generated promotions to Senior and Principal Consultant in relation to revenue generated: the criteria is the same across the board, so you know exactly what you need to do to move up to that next step! Established Consultants will also be invited onto a Management training course.

·  Despite our corporate set up, Adecco truly has a family feel! Our President and Head of Country are both inspirational figures we have communication from on a frequent basis. Our Region attends Workshops together in Bristol frequently; so you'll get to know the wider family!

·  The team in Worcester is established and successful; our newest member of the team joined in 2019 and our other consultants have worked for us over 5-12yrs! The consultants will always offer advice and support to each other. We get our heads down and work hard but we love a good chat and bit of fun. Our office can go from silent to loud in a heartbeat - just as erratic as the world of recruitment!

·  Adecco are big on rewards: you'll receive a competitive commission dependant on performance, plus top performing consultants are given an all-expenses paid trip (this year it's Thailand, previous years have been Singapore and Mexico!).

·  We offer fantastic benefits: you'll receive 22 days Annual Leave (plus 8 days Bank Hols PLUS your bithday off) as standard increasing 1 day per year - and you can buy up to 8 days each year.; Life Assurance (2x your salary), Private Healthcare Cover, Medicash and Denplan, plus much more.

Who are we looking for?

·  The number one trait to be successful in recruitment is resilience and perseverance: in recruitment you face extreme highs but also extreme lows. Everyone in our team knows exactly how this feels, so we're here to support you - but the ability to pick yourself up and believe in yourself is key.

·  This role is extremely people orientated; client is key, but we have a duty of care towards our workers as they're our employees. We're looking for someone who thrives off talking to other people and genuinely cares for others.

·  You'll need to have pace and tenacity - there's a lot of components to temporary recruitment so you'll need a lot of energy to keep up with the pace!

·  Parts of this fast-paced role are very administrative heavy therefore you'll need to have excellent attention to detail, be meticulous and able to organise your time appropriately. Speaking of attention to detail; writing a covering letter explaining why you're interested will put you at a distinct advantage!

·  You'll need to have a full UK Driving License and access to your own vehicle.
