My client is looking for a school leaver to train as an Industrial Ventilation Specialist in the areas of air filtration and dust, fume, mist, spray and oil extraction.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to embark on a career in an engineering environment. The successful candidate will shadow our team of highly skilled engineers. This will involve travelling to customer sites across the UK, with the occasional overnight stay, and office-based administration and report-writing. As the role is largely customer-facing, you will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills. With regard to administrative tasks, you must have a good level of computer literacy and the ability to write clear and concise technical English for full and accurate reporting. You must hold, at a minimum, Maths and English GCSE and have a keen interest in and aptitude for engineering. Most importantly, we require someone with a positive, can-do attitude, willingness to learn and enthusiasm. In return, we will provide you with comprehensive and structured training programme and will support you to achieve qualifications in CAD design, as well as the BOHS qualifications (P600 - P604 and W201). My client provides clean air solutions, including dust, fume, mist, spray and oil extraction, to a range of industries (food production, construction, manufacturing, pharmaceutical etc.) across the UK and Ireland. We perform mechanical service inspections, workplace air monitoring and site surveys, LEV testing, and provide spares and new installations. We strive to endorse the working principles of honesty, discipline, transparency and hard work.
