Job Title - Stores Assistant

We currently recruiting for one of our key clients for a Stores Assistant to work in our Stores department, to be responsible for stores activities, and the receipt and dispatch of stock however big or small. You will be responsible for logging all goods onto the computerised system
General Description
To contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the stores area within the company.
Responsible for receiving and dispatching stock from suppliers / customers in accordance with defined procedures.
Prepare stock correctly and in time for collection by courier companies in accordance with defined procedures.
Ensuring stock items are picked accurately and in a timely manner.
To correctly process all stock in line with company procedures.
Maintain effective stock control at all times.
Take part in stock take.
To support other departments and help out where the need arises
Skills Required
Strong attention to detail
Be able to work unsupervised and meet set deadlines
Ability to work under pressure, prioritise the workload and multitask
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Computer literate
Be methodical and ensure operating procedures for the stores are enforced on all levels
Self-motivated, ambitious and enthusiastic
