We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a well established organisation based in Rainham, Essex. We are proud to represent this client, who are a market leader in their field, and a key supplier still operating as usual to meet demand. Working closely with the production team, you will be responsible for supporting with day to day maintenance of manufacturing plant and machinery, light building maintenance and occasional production manufacture/fabrication.
Your duties will include:
· Responsible for day to day maintenance of manufacturing plant and machinery.
· Light building maintenance
· Occasional production manufacture / fabrication.
· Model / Pattern manufacture
· Welding (MIG / TIG / Arc)
· Plasma cutting
· Manual milling
· Manual turning
· Ability to work from drawings
Although not essential, candidates with experience in PAT testing and a Fork Lift Truck License would be an advantage.
The most suitable candidate will have experience in a similar role, supporting a production/manufacturing team in machine maintenance, looking to join a successful local business. We are also welcoming applicants who have just finished an apprenticeship in a similar field, or looking for their 1st or 2nd job in Mechanical Engineering. Due to the location of the site, own transport to location would be beneficial but again not essential.
