Adecco Northampton are recruiting for a Senior Warehouse Colleague with forklift to be based at our client site in Weedon.

You will have and MHE license OR hold a counterbalance and reach truck license. This is a long term role for the right person looking to become part of a family like environment. Our client really looks after their employees.

This role is 37.5 hours a week working from 7AM - 4PM

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Receive and book onto the warehouse management system all inbound materials from suppliers.
* Put away to storage locations all materials received.
* Pick, pack and issue all outbound materials as required by the customer.
* Operate machinery including FLT and cable-cutters in a safe and effective manner.
* Conduct all tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
* Ensure stock integrity through regular stock counts.
* Input, interrogate and retrieve data within the warehouse management system as required in performing all tasks.
* Undertake housekeeping to maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
* Respond to customer queries and requests swiftly and accurately.
* Organise transport to and from our customers and suppliers when necessary.
* Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve operational processes and customer satisfaction.
* Understand the KPIs and take appropriate actions to ensure targets are met.
* Understand and utilise the Unipart Way philosophy, system and tools.
* Participate in and pass all training courses as required by the business.
* Behave in a professional manner at all times in accordance with Unipart Rail's HR policies.
* Assist in the maintenance of site security.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* Good level of literacy and numeracy
* Physically fit
* IT literate including the use of e-mail, word-processing and spreadsheet software
* A minimum of 1 years' experience in a warehouse environment
* Full UK driving licence
* Have a flexible approach to working hours, shift patterns and annual leave in accordance with the needs of the business.

DESIRABLE CRITERIA
* NVQ in a warehouse related discipline
* FLT licence
* Full UK driving licence
* HSE qualification.
