Our client, a large housing association are currently recruiting for a Recruitment Officer to provide an effective and efficient recruitment support service to the housing directorate. Working alongside the HR Adviser on the end to end recruitment cycle.

·  Location: Kings Cross

·  Pay: £17.56 per hour

·  Hours: Monday-Friday, 35 hours per week

·  Type: Temporary

·  Start Date: ASAP

·  End Date: March 2020

Overall responsibilities:

·  Ensure the HR system and other computerised/manual records are kept up to date (including keeping relevant spreadsheets up to date and administering payroll changes as required)

·  Prepare accurate correspondence to staff, managers and customers. Ensure file notes, records of meetings etc. are accurate and produced in a timely manner

·  Contribute to the development of the HR and Training service and assist in the delivery of the HR strategy

·  Use feedback from the business to continually improve the work of the HR Service as a whole, including the use of assessment centres as a method of recruitment.

·  Respond to queries as required and respond to issues as they arise.

·  Work to promote on going relations with business areas and management, including off site working to constantly improve the work of the team and promote excellent customer service

·  Provide administration and project support including organising and participating in assessment centres, acting as an assessor as required.

·  Provide an efficient recruitment management service by supporting recruiting managers

·  Co-ordinate and run assessment centre training and refreshers, facilitating shadowing for new assessors.

·  To take part in the interviewing process if required, by sitting on panels and advising the panel accordingly on HR process, terms and conditions

Knowledge/Experience/Skills:

·  ITRENT Experience is essential

·  Comprehensive recruitment experience working at an officer level

·  Experience in managing recruitment campaigns and designing assessment methods.

·  Experience of working with competency frameworks and how this relates to recruitment

·  Ability to work accurately using computerised and manual data

·  Attention to detail

·  Seek and evaluating information

·  Effective IT skills including basic/intermediate/advanced MS Office skills

·  CIPD part qualified or studying towards membership

·  Level A & B in occupational testing
