Our client is one of the UKs leading Facilities Management Companies and they are looking for an experienced Quantity surveyor for their Retail & Commercial national based clients. This role offers the opportunity to work from home.

The key purpose of the role is to provide support and guidance to Clients and Suppliers regarding Quoted works, preparing reports to highlight savings, efficiencies, quality of workmanship, adherence to specifications and value for money-ensuring this is communicated effectively to the Client and Senior Management


* Ensure that we meet our contractual obligations anddeliver the contract agenda

* Develop strong relationships with all stakeholders and be responsive to their requests for help and support

* Ensure that we are working within agreed margins and terms

* Ensure that any client complaints regarding service delivery are managed and escalated to the Lead Quantity Surveyor & Account Manager in a timely manner with corrective actions closed out quickly

* Support Lead Quantity Surveyor to achieve savings targets across several Clients

* Work with the Reporting team to develop and shape standardisation of reporting formats

* Assist Lead Quantity Surveyor in compiling and gathering the necessary data and information required for monthly reports

* Reporting of Suppliers performance against Quote KPI's

* Conduct site visits pre and post works for validation & reporting

* Ensure we promote a culture of compliance and escalate issues and areas of concern


* Monitoring of inbox

* Key quotes requiring action urgently

* Culture development within supply chain

* Initial analysis of quotes, including materials, rates, scope of works

* Utilise Technical support where required for more detailed analysis

* Rate card review & monitoring

* Lens invoice management of approved suppliers

* Chasing of overdue or critical quotations

* Maintaining up to date savings tracking information

* rovide scheduled reports including ad-hoc when required to client

Qualifications/Training Required:


� Technical capability � Health & Safety awareness � IT literate particularly Excel - to include pivot tables and data manipulation Desirable � Facilities Management Experience � Basic Commercial contract awareness

Experience Required:


� Facilities Management � Adherence to processes and procedures � Understanding how to manage client relationships


� Technical understanding � Awareness of Procurement and Supply chain leverage

Personal traits:


� Self-motivated & ambitious � Data Analysis skills � Good Judgement & understands when to escalate issues � Ability to deal directly with Client Team Ability to provide clear direction
