We are currently working with a company based in Sittingbourne to recruit for a purchasing planner role, this company is ideally seeking someone to hit the ground running and be able to learn and adapt to a very fast-moving environment. You will be required to carry out the following tasks;

·  Managing stock levels - maintaining data on internal system

·  Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing and negotiating where necessary

·  Maintain the relationships with suppliers and keeping up to date with T&C's

·  Assist and action promotional activities to maximise growth

·  Accurate details need to be kept with regards to all client information

·  Deliverance of daily scheduled reports on stock levels

·  Keeping record of all damaged and quarantined products and keeping accurate records

·  Investigate daily warehouse stock by suppliers

You need to be quite a confident individual in order to be able to challenge the suppliers of things such as pricing, poor service and issues with deliveries
