We are currently recruiting a number of Production Operators/labourers for our well established and expanding client on a long term ongoing contract. Positions to start ASAP.
The client offers long term on going work, excellent earning potential and full training.
Duties/Job Role: Operating machinery , using basic measuring equipment and reading drawings.
Working towards production targets, you will operate as part of a team the plant's machinery and equipment. Undertaking any other production tasks required, you'll work safely and in accordance with instructions.
Full training and guidance will be provided.
Requirements: Ideally you will have previous experience within manufacturing/engineering/labouring/ construction/warehouse roles. Previous experience within a 'hands on role' would be a strong advantage. You'll be a self-motivated individual. Working effectively within a team, you'll have the ability to follow processes, instructions and commit to assigned tasks.
Attention to detail, must be physically fit and have a good degree of manual dexterity, must be able to show concentration throughout whole work process.
Shifts/ Hours: Rotating shift pattern of Days and Nights .
Week 1 - DAYS - 6am-4pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 6am-2.30pm
Week 2 - NIGHTS - 6pm-4am Monday to Thursday and 2.30pm-11pm Friday
40 hours basic, any hours worked over 40 will be paid at overtime rates.
Generous overtime available
Salary: Starting salary £8.21per hour Days and £9.44ph on nights. On successfully completing training/signed off on machinery, week 13 you will receive a basic pay rate + weekly bonus : Average earnings Days £8.21 - £9.50ph & Nights £9.44 - £10.50 ph. Average earning potential will rise. OTE of £17,000- £25,000 P/A.
