PAY RATE: £25.22 PH PAYE
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 Months
Full-time post but part-time and job share arrangements will be considered
Location - Post holder will be required to work across Kingston and Sutton.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive People and Organisational Development (OD) Shared Service that focuses on our customers' needs across Kingston, Sutton and our traded services. We are building a strategically focused OD service, that is responsive to our internal customer needs and enables them to provide the services needed for the communities we work with. About the role
You'll work in partnership with our new Talent and Resourcing Partner to head up and jointly manage our new Resourcing, Talent, Benefit and Reward Team, comprising of 9 staff. Your key focus will be researching and implementing pay, reward and benefit strategies for both Client and our traded services customers as required. This will involve implementing pay and reward structures, job evaluation and providing advice on pay and grading matters including pay benchmarking and additional incentives such as market supplements as required.
Both Client currently utilise two different pay grading schemes (HAY for Sutton and GLPC for Kingston) but we are keen to review our pay structures and overall reward strategies in both Client and you will play a key role in leading on this project.
We're looking for someone who will question and challenge our ways of working, demonstrate innovation and creativity, can work successfully with key stakeholders and customers within and outside of the Client through effective communication.
In addition, experience in implementing pay and reward strategies and job evaluation (HAY and GLPC desirable) is a must for this role. You'll also possess strong leadership and management skills to support, motivate and get the best out of your team. You'll also be someone who can demonstrate a strong commitment to your own personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the role and be able to work across the wider People and OD Service to contribute to the successful delivery of key priority projects.
