JOB TITLE: Mosaic Developer
LOCATION: Wandsworth, London
PAY RATE: £400 per day (Umbrella)
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: 3 months minimum
IR35 STATUS: Inside

Job Purpose:

·  To work with the business develop Mosaic forms and workflows using document designer in line with Departmental development guidelines.

·  To assist business in creating new team structures for their service on Mosaic and to assist in the moving of existing workers in these new teams.

·  To provide training and support to users of the Mosaic system on the new forms and workflows; including delivering classroom training courses, producing all system documentation and providing information and advice.

·  To liaise with all third party contractors and Corporate IT on a day to day basis ensuring that all problems are resolved with due regard to contractual requirements/service level agreements

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

·  To update and create new Mosaic forms and workflows in line with requirements set out by the business and with Departmental development guidelines.

·  To provide support to users of the Mosaic database, liaising with the Children's Services Business Analyst and corporate IT required.

·  To produce and maintain all user documentation for Mosaic

·  To deliver Mosaic training including one-to-one support including delivery of training courses and onsite support and all relevant training material and procedural guidance

·  To advise and support staff and managers on relevant matters affecting use of Mosaic as appropriate

·  To contribute as required to all change programmes within the service and to support the Business Analysts in system development to Mosaic

·  To proactively identify problems regarding use of the Mosaic system and work with the Business Analysts and operational managers in resolving these

·  To keep up to date with changes with relevant policy and procedures for the business and social care in general and to have an understanding of the partnership between system development and reporting requirements

·  To be conversant with information systems' security mechanisms and to plan with managers the implementation of security in accordance with Data Protection and Caldicott.

·  To work as required in ways that develop good working relations and collaborative arrangements with internal and external stakeholders. Including day to day liaison with IT to ensure that all technical problems are resolved with due regard to the service level agreements and the requirements of the Directorate.

·  To ensure that the services for both Councils are dealt with on an equitable basis to deliver the standards required for each, as agreed annually by the Executives of both Councils.

·  To contribute towards the development of good working relations and collaborative arrangements with relevant third-party organisations including private, voluntary and other public organisations, to forge effective partnership working.

·  To contribute as required to the commissioning, market testing and contract management of services.

·  To contribute as required to performance review and improvement measures on an ongoing basis helping to ensure that a customer focus is embedded within the function and innovative and creative solutions are evaluated to securing the highest quality and value for money

Person Specification Requirements

·  Experience of working in Children's Service

·  Experience of using Mosaic Document Designer

·  Experience of training delivery and/ or experience of presenting information clearly and concisely.

·  Experience of working with a multi user IT system

·  Knowledge of Early Help in local authorities

·  To have analytical skills an ability to learn new business processes

·  Proven IT skills to a high level. Fluent IT literacy including MS Office and experience using Mosaic Document designer

·  Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

·  Ability to proactively schedule workload based on competing priorities ensuring deadlines are met.

·  Ability to analyse and interpret data and produce reports
