We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Fitter to join our local client in South Ayrshire on a permanent basis.

Your role will be to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on plant equipment. Equipment will include hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, compressors, fans, conveyors, motors and PLC's. Knowledge of maintaining & servicing saw-milling equipment would also be desirable though not essential as full training will be given.

To be considered you must have the following:

* Hold City & Guilds or equivalent

* Energetic, organised and excellent attention to detail

* Manufacturing background, preferably in a heavy industry sector would be ideal

* Knowledge of relevant standards in a heavy production environment is important

* Excellent interpersonal & team working skills

Shifts

Day - 0600 - 1500

Backs - 1400 - 2300

Nights - 2200 - 0600
