My client is a leading business in the leisure industry in the Windermere area and they are seeking an Accountant with the aptitude and skills necessary for their business. They would consider all applicants that have the correct level of experience be they AAT, part qualified or QBA. They would also consider part-time applicants - 4 days per week minimum.

They would expect the successful candidate to perform the following duties -

·  Processing financial transactions

·  Analysing your company's financial performance and making longer term forecasts

·  Assisting with cash management

·  Nominal Ledger Reconciliations

·  Assisting with collating the information for the annual audit

·  Payroll processing

·  Taking accounts up to Trial Balances.

·  Assistance in providing variance analysis Managing fixed Asset and Inventory reviews

Required skills and Experience:

·  A sound knowledge and extensive experience of reconciliations (Bank/Stock//Accruals/Prepayments)

·  Advanced EXCEL (Basic Formulas, Formatting, Look up tables, Pivot tables)

·  Attention to detail

·  Effective time management, can meet deadlines effectively

·  Works well as part of a team and individually

·  Ability to communicate effectively - At all levels

·  Analytical and logical problem solving skills

·  Good communications and presentation skills

·  An ability to explain complex financial information in a clear way

·  Honesty and discretion

·  Profit and loss account review and commentary

The salary will be dependant on experience and qualifications. The hours of work are 09:00 to 17:30, Mon to Fri.
