Our client a leader in their industry are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to join their existing team.

Your duties will include the following:

*Carry out the execution of preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs
*Providing maintenance support, entering data, updating equipment records, and participating in continuous improvement follow up
*Electrical and Mechanical trouble-shooting
*Closely monitor machine performance and intervene as any deterioration in performance occurs
*As part of the Maintenance team, work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications
*Co-operate and participate fully in training and development in cross-skilling and other job-related competencies
*Update the maintenance management system, records of all changes, stores transactions made, and works carried out.
*Troubleshooting using PLC Programs
*Responsible for completion of your planned work, daily shifts input, parts booked out of stores and control of breakdowns
*Ensure Maintenance Manager is aware of any problems on site as soon as possible.
*Observing all onsite and legislative rules and regulations in terms of Health and Safety.

Qualifications & Skills:
*Possess relevant trade qualification.
*Minimum of 3 years' experience in a regulated manufacturing/plant environment
*Possess mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and/or qualifications
*Multi-skilled / cross-skilled ethos
*Experienced in fault finding and problem solving
*Comprehensive Knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation and PLC control systems
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*Teamwork - Ability to work with operators, peers, engineering and other functions.
