Role Requirements

- Good current working knowledge of AutoCAD/3D CAD/TurboCAD

- Ability to think creatively and provide engineering solutions for customers

- Good working knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering and manufacturing equipment maintenance

- Continuous improvement project involvement

- Maximising equipment utilisation and availability to support manufacturing activities; leading projects to support activities to improve efficiency, yield and recycling opportunities.

The role would be reporting into our Maintenance Manager who currently does the majority of our engineering drawings as well as oversees and carries out maintenance of our equipment.

Training will be provided as well as knowledge of our bespoke processes and products, however the person we desire should have inherent knowledge and experience of hands on mechanical maintenance work in a manufacturing/engineering industry and experience of using CAD for producing bespoke engineering products.

Basic mechanical engineering knowledge and experience of maintaining machine shop equipment is essential.

8-10 years of manufacturing experience is essential.

Salary - £25-30K DOE (based on a 37.5 hour week)
