IT Analyst

Monday - Friday

£24,000- £28,000 DOE

Our Client, based in Gloucester is seeking an IT Anaylst on a full time, permanent basis.

The role with entail

·  day to day IT function meets the needs of the business by providing support in line with

·  agreed service levels and providing recommendations for on-going / continual improvement.

·  As a technical support/ helpdesk professional you will be on the front-line supporting customers and employees. These customers/ employees will be experiencing technical issues which you will be required to identify and advise on a solution.

·  You will be required to categorise, research and resolve technical problems and concerns for all customers and employees.

·  answer enquiries in person this may be via telephone, email or voice mail concerning the use of computer hardware/ software which may include; printing, word processing, electronic email and operating systems.

M inimum Required

·  (Desirable) 2 years' experience of working in an IT environment.

·  Microsoft Active Directory - Supporting and administration

·  Microsoft Exchange/O365 - Troubleshooting Outlook client, network issues, profile issues, PST & OST files familiarity

·  Backup Technologies (Veam being used)

·  Knowledge in Richmond Software or similar ticketing system

·  Must have background in IT. This must have included support responsibility.

·  Demonstrable experience of working in an IT Support environment

Must have a working knowledge in some or all areas of management of:

·  VPN - Troubleshooting log errors, setting up via two-factor authentication (RSA, Certificates, Tokens, etc).

·  Troubleshooting software Firewalls - Recognising Firewall and Intrusion Protection errors, application specific support including McAfee, and port knowledge

·  CCTV Platforms

·  PowerShell scripting

·  Microsoft SQL Databases

·  Microsoft Hyper-V

·  Microsoft SharePoint

·  Procedure documentation.

·  Setting up users' IT equipment such as Laptops/Workstation and Mobile devices.

·  Citrix - Familiarity with Citrix farms, virtual desktops, applications published on Citrix, Citrix errors and application errors

·  Microsoft Desktop platforms Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office Applications (2010,2016/O365)

·  Infrastructure: HP/Dell Servers, WAN/LAN Networking, Crystal Reports, Intranet/Extranet, Cisco switches, TCP/IP

Useful Exposure to Applications: Legacy systems support, all application interfaces, TimeGate and

Microsoft Navision/Dynamics
