We are currently looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who is AAT qualified to work in a busy team environment. Duties will involve assisting with preparing accounts and financial statements and preparing and completing accurate VAT returns. You will be responsible for dealing with contracts on payment applications and retention and use a spreadsheet to analyse data and communicate information. Additional duties will involve preparing wage overtime records and you will develop within the role to be able to assist with payroll. This is a small hardworking team and requires an individual who can also carry out daily tasks including typing up purchase invoices and orders, booking in and out stock, maintaining the debt and chasing, assisting with filing, answering the phone and any general office administration.
