Our product portfolio includes Freestyle Libre, a recently launched system that is revolutionising how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels. We are passionate about doing work that improves the quality of people's lives.

We currently have an opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our UK Operations Finance team, based in Oxfordshire, supporting our manufacturing, R&D and Support Functions areas, as well as ad-hoc project activities as required. We are looking for someone to initially join on a Temporary basis for 3 months with the view to convert to Permanent based on performance.

In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial and non-financial stakeholders in accounting activities, focusing on overheads, headcount, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling. Building relationships with these operational teams, you will work on variance analysis, improving long term planning processes and financial controls. You will also own the month end process for Overheads & R&D and collaborate with colleagues to achieve on time and in full deliverables. You will challenge the status quo, improve, automate and simplify processes with the view to drive down inefficiencies.

To be successful, you will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (although consideration will be given to equivalent Finalists), and bring a breadth of experience of FP&A, combined with strong analytics. Working knowledge of SAP, TM1 and Oracle (Hyperion/Essbase) is preferred, and experience of AS400 ERP beneficial. We're looking for someone who is ambitious, highly organised, and excited about joining a team at the forefront of Diabetes Care innovation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a small team, but interact on a wider business scale. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.

As you'd expect from an innovative global healthcare company, we offer a competitive salary and excellent working environment.
