We have an exciting opportunity for a fabrication operative to join us in our busy manufacturing facility in Preston, Lancashire.

Duties include:

- Cutting, taping and sewing glass fibre textile fabrics (straight stitch & overlocking)

- Fabricating tadpole / P Section seals

- Taping, cutting and packing short length seals

- Creating labels and packaging products neatly

- Stock control of some consumables.

- Maintaining excellent quality control levels

This is a permanent full-time position and full training will be provided.

Start and finish times:

06:45 - 15:45 Monday - Thursday

07:00 - 12:00 Fridays.

The ideal candidate will have experience with sewing machines, be enthusiastic, able to work in a small team, manage their own work loads and be able to meet production dead-lines.

Consideration will be given to applicants who may not have experience of working in the manufacturing industry, but who have a good practical ability and an eagerness to learn how to sew and overlock.

Standard Hours: 39 hours / week
