To receive and safely retain all property seized or handed in to the Alliance Evidential Property Stores and on completion of all enquiries and police action, to return the property to its rightful owner or dispose of the property according to Force Policy and Guidance.

The Evidential Property Officer will take a lead role in the day to day running of the Force Property Stores and be responsible for the reception, retention and subsequent disposal of property. In addition the Evidential Property Officer will be responsible for the delivery of training/mentoring of new staff as directed by the Evidential Property Supervisor until such time as they have attained the required knowledge and experience to operate alone.
