North Wales Police are recruiting for an Evidence Gatherer to join their team based initially in Mold but then Re-locating to Llay.

The purpose of the role is to take written statements provided by members of the public and/or staff of the Force or other sources in connection with an investigation.

Duties of the post include:

·  To assist in the gathering of evidence by collating documents and other evidence relating to the investigation.

·  To compile files and return promptly to the Investigating Officer containing completed statements/reports to a high standard.

·  To carry out further enquiries in relation to investigations at the request of the Investigating Officer(s).

·  To assist with the preparation of correspondence to witnesses and in-force Management Teams.

·  Promote and comply with North Wales Policies on equal opportunities and health and safety both in the delivery of services and the treatment of others.

·  Any other duties as directed by a Supervisory Officer commensurate with the post and salary grading.

A background in Policing is essential for this role.

Welsh language skills are highly desirable for this role.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake and pass a thorough background check.
