Role and Responsibilities
· Reconciling supplier invoices to expected cost spreadsheets.
· Processing payable invoices and credit notes.
· Production of monthly customer invoices in Excel.
· Raising sales invoices and credit notes.
· Dealing with invoice queries that arise and proactively resolving queries with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
· Payment run preparation and uploading of payments for approval.
· Checking and reconciling supplier statements.
· Assisting with credit control management and aged debt.
· Assisting the Accounts Manager and Assistant Accountant as required.
This role will be subject to screening and vetting under BS7858 which will mean a 5 year background check.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· GCSE English and Maths
Required Skills
· It is essential that all applicants to this vacancy have excellent IT skills, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
· You will have strong purchase and sales ledger experience and be willing to support in other general accounts administration.
