Regional Sales Coordinator

Summary of Responsibilities:

Reporting to assigned Sales Manager(s), responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

· 
Act as a direct support to assigned sales managers, in all aspects of the position from lead generation, contracting, and follow-up for all Regional Mountain properties.

· 
Field general inquiries and direct information on behalf of Sales Manager

· 
Respond to inquiries from established and prospective clients in the absence of the Sales Manager

· 
Execution and organization of creative and passionate site inspections showcasing CLL’s unique selling proposition.  Involvement in client activities/onsite entertaining for all market segments as needed.

· 
Communication of detail re. site inspections with operating departments to ensure flawless execution

· 
Entertainment of clients in absence of and in conjunction with Sales Manager

· 
Share knowledge of The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise’s heritage, facilities and programming (ie. environmental/heritage initiatives)

· 
Assist and support the relevant marketplaces for other projects as assigned

· 
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports as required

· 
Integration within the Sales team and with other team members in Conventions, Guest Services and throughout the hotel

· 
Actively seek opportunities to improve systems and procedures

· 
Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: 

· 
Excellent time management and multitasking skills

· 
Excellent communication and organizational skills

· 
Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows XP

· 
Knowledge of Opera an asset

· 
Graduate of Hospitality Degree/Diploma program a definite asset

· 
Minimum one year experience in hotel environment

· 
Knowledge of CLL’s heritage, facilities and programs a definite asset

· 
Confident, well groomed, pleasant telephone / personal disposition

· 
Desire to learn and advance within the Sales and Marketing team

· 
Previous sales experience an asset
