It is conveniently located in the city centre within minutes from the Guangzhou-Foshan Subway station. All 232 guest rooms and suites from the 38th to 49th floor of the tower are equipped with an intimate atmosphere and attentive service.

 

Swissôtel Foshan is managed by a professional, friendly and dedicated team of Leaders. To strengthen our team, we are looking for:

 

POSITION: Night Commis

Reporting to the Chef de Partie.  According to efficient and flexible service consistent with Swissotel Foshan Standards Policies & Procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

 

• To perform the duty assigned by superior chefs, produce a consistent, high quality product, ensure a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service in order to maximize Guest Satisfaction.

 

• To be fully conversant with all services and facilities offered by the hotel.

 

• To be responsible for the daily supervision of the restaurant, concentrating on service procedure and quality of product.

 

• Deal effectively with guests and workplace colleagues from a variety of cultures;

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are as listed below, but not limited to these:

 

•Assist in the management of Chinese Kitchen Operation including menu planning and costing, organizing special events, developing new dishes, maintaining food quality standards and comprehensive product knowledge.

• Develop and write standard recipes

• Assist with organizing special events and special food promotions

 

•Maintain comprehensive product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, suppliers, markets, and current trends and make recommendations for appropriate adjustments to kitchen operations accordingly

 

We are looking for a candidate with right attitude, who is a team player and can work well under pressure. In addition, he/she should possess:

 

•Previous service experience is preferred

 

•Good verbal & written is a plus

 

•Excellent communication and organizational skills

 

•Highly responsible & reliable

 

•Not opened for expats, Chinese ID only
