Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Spa Director, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 
·  Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
·  Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
·  Book and schedule salon appointments as required
·  Perform bridal and special event updo’s and styles
·  Perform ladies, men’s and children’s haircuts, washing and styling
·  Perform current trends in highlights, permanent/semi-permanent colour services
·  Make product recommendations and stay current with new styles and industry trends
·  Constantly maintain an up to date knowledge of the personal services performed and any revisions in the products or procedures used
·  Participate in incentives and retail goal setting
·  Become familiar with all spa offerings and promote spa services
·  Assist in restocking, inventory and ordering of supplies
·  Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way
·  Maintain cleanliness of work area and of all equipment used
·  Participate in on-going in-house and out-of-house training opportunities in our product lines 
·  Adhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles
·  Follow all safety and sanitation policies
·  Other duties as assigned

Q ualifications:

·  Minimum of 2 years hairdressing/styling experience required
·  Red Seal or Hairstyling license required
·  Make up training / experience an asset
·  Excellent communication and organizational skills
·  Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
·  Highly responsible & reliable
·  Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
·  Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision
·  Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
   Physical Aspects of Position (includes but are not limited to): 
·  Sitting: 0-1 hrs/day
·  Walking: 7-8 hrs/day
·  Standing: 7-8 hrs/day
·  Bending/Reaching: 4-5 hrs/day
·  Pushing/Pulling: 4-5 hrs/day
·  Physical effort: High, Exposure to electrical appliances, various hair care products and chemical dyes
