Food & Beverage Supervisor
We are currently seeking a passionate F&B Supervisor within our Food and Beverage operation. This leader will work closely with the F&B team to provide support during peak service times, will provide coverage of floor shifts across the other F&B outlets (Andys/In-Room Dining/RFC), and will assist with various administrative functions and projects. The F&B Supervisor will have a proactive approach to operations, attention to detail, a focus on upholding brand standards and will embrace the variability of guest and business needs. Previous supervisory experience, college level study of hospitality, and/or progressive employment in top F&B establishments would be an asset for this position.

Summary of Responsibilities:
Reporting to the fl.2 Restaurant General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

·  Active floor management and order expediting, driving the service vision within the Outlets to build guest loyalty and outstanding service results.
·  Ensures that all colleagues are trained and held accountable for brand standards and that colleagues are always reflective of our grooming standards and in a clean and proper uniform.
·  Takes initiative to uphold brand standards and demonstrates confidence when addressing issues as they arise in the outlets.
·  Consistently has a presence with our colleagues in the Outlet areas while balancing any designated administrative tasks.
·  Engages external and internal guests alike on a consistent basis.
·  Provides exceptional guest service, employee satisfaction and accountability, and overall hospitality to our in-house and local guest.
·  Takes responsibility to uphold the cleanliness, maintenance, and storage procedures of the Outlets.
·  Is an excellent communicator and effectively reports back to F&B Managers on daily happenings, needs, and observations in the various outlets.
·  Executes opening and closing checklists.
·  Reviews daily reports (Arrival, VIP, Group Resumes, etc.) and communicates all special requirements and monitors execution.
·  Conducts daily shift briefings ensuring that our colleagues are well informed and prepared to deliver outstanding service.
·  Ensures proper cash handling procedures are followed and Accounting standards are adhered to.
·  Ensures a safe and healthy work environment for both colleagues and guests.
·  Must be available to work afternoon/evening shifts and weekends and holidays.
  Qualifications:

·  A minimum of 1 year in a previous F&B leadership role required, preferably F&B experience within a 5 star hotel
·  Computer literacy a must, with a strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
·  Excellent communication, both written and verbal, professional telephone manner and demeanor with a natural response to ‘smile’ on the phone.
·  Candidate should have excellent organizational skills.
·  Ability to cope in a fast-paced environment and work under extreme pressure with minimal supervision
 
 
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
·  Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
·  Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs
·  Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, sitting
·  Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
